International Student Services

BTEC has been home to students from around the world for more than 10 years. Its International Services recognizes the unique needs of international students and has a finely tuned support system in place to respond to those needs. It strives to promote academic and social programs for international students.

Outside the classroom, we help to ensure students have adequate living arrangements during their stay. Our Homestay program, in which students live with families in Dubai, offers international students a chance to experience life with Dubai expat families, improve their English language skills, and adapt a Dubai culture in a supportive family environment. In return, our international students share their culture and customs with their host family.

Job Placement Assistance by International Student Services:

International Student Services division will provide you with all the necessary support to enhance your chances of landing a job. Such services include but not limited to: coordinating and liaising with recruitment agencies on your behalf; providing you with Job Orientation and Counseling, Arabic language instruction, grooming and other relevant intervention; and the free use of BTEC facilities for faxing and mailing of resumes.

Clients who shall be arriving to the UAE for the first time shall be received at the airport by the institution's representative and shall be given an orientation on the various policies of BTEC and the customs, relevant laws and regulations of the UAE. Information as to the places of worship, location of medical clinics and other facilities that would make your stay in the UAE an enjoyable and rewarding experience would also be provided.

Upon request, we can arrange for your food / accommodation, the cost of which shall depend on the type of accommodation you require.
